Restore _windows2003 for Windows 2003 porting systems

Users of Windows XP know that there is a very intimate and useful feature in Windows XP-System Restore. This feature automatically creates multiple restore points when the system is working properly, and can help users easily restore to a previous restore point and quickly recover the system when a problem occurs. However, in Windows 2003, which is known as Windows XP Server Edition, Microsoft does not integrate the feature, which makes many users of the System Restore feature feel regretful. Today, let us fully develop the DIY spirit, the System Restore function in Windows XP to migrate to Windows 2003! Please prepare a Windows XP installation CD first, and then follow me:

Step 1th enters the Windows 2003 operating system, holding down the SHIFT key while the Windows XP installation CD is inserted into the CD drive to cancel its autorun. Click the start → Run command, and then enter "CMD" in the Run dialog box to return to the command prompt window. After entering "expand X:i386sr.in_ c:sr.inf" After the command prompt, extract the sr.in_ under the Windows XP installation CD i386 directory into the C-packing directory, as shown in Figure 1. Where, x refers to the drive letter of the CD-ROM, the user please make appropriate changes according to their actual situation.

Step 2nd to open the Explorer, in the root of C disk with the right mouse click on the Sr.inf file just released, select the "Install" command to start copying files. During Setup, the installer prompts you not to find some files, click the "Browse" button in the prompt dialog box, navigate to the i386 directory of the Windows XP installation CD, and click OK.


After the 3rd step is installed, the system will be prompted to change the system settings and require the computer to be restarted. When you restart your computer, you will receive an error prompt during startup, ignoring it, and clicking OK to cancel it.

When you have finished typing, click OK and close the Registry Editor after checking to make sure it is correct.

The 5th step is to restart your computer and you will find that the error message is gone. Now we right-click on my computer on the desktop, select Properties, open the System Properties dialog box, as shown in Figure 2, the System Restore tab appears!
