In Word documents we often use many different text formats, if you want to quickly select the same text, you can select the text object with the mouse, right-click, in the Word right-click menu, "Select the format similar text" command. However, sometimes this word command may also become grayed out, what to do? It's okay, we can get it back.

Click the word tools → options command to open the Options dialog box, and on the Edit tab, select the Keep formatting tracking check box.

Look at that! Now select the Word text object and right-click, and the "select text in similar format" command in the Word right-click menu becomes available.
