Today, we need to uninstall Oracle 10.2.01 in the lab room, and then install Oracle 10.1.03. It took a long time to unmount the database because of lack of experience. At last, we had a great sense of accomplishment.
Log on to the system as the root account, open the browser, and enter http: // localhost: 1158/em in the address bar. Then, log on as the database administrator to close the database and listen. Create a terminal, enter # xhost + press enter, and then enter # export DISPLAY =. 0. Create another terminal, switch to the Oracle account, enter the directory of the Oracle Installation source file, $ cd database/, and then open the database Configuration assistant $ dbca. The database will be automatically deleted as prompted; enter $ cd $ Oracle_HOME/oui/bin/$. /runInstaller uses the Oracle anti-installer to uninstall the Oracle software.
Then, use the root user to delete
Rm-rf $ oracle_HOME (delete the Home Directory permanently)
Rm-rf/etc/oraInst. loc
Rm-rf/etc/oratab
Rm-rf/etc/oracle
Rm-rf/var/opt/oracle
Rm-rf/tmp/oracle
