Solution:

1. Create a swap file in a directory, for example, vim/opt/swap

2. Use this command to add a 3G swap

Dd if =/dev/zero of =/opt/swap bs = 1024 count = 3072000

3. Create a swap space

Mkswap/opt/swap

4. view existing swap

Free-m

5. enable new swap

Swapon/opt/swap

6. Check whether swap is added.

7. Modify the/etc/fstab file and add the following content:

/Opt/swap defaults 0 0

8. Complete resizing
