Is Microsoft keyboard compatible?

Key-bit conflict!

Changing the key position. However, some keyboards still conflict with each other. There is no way to change the keyboard.
We recommend that you do not buy a very advanced keyboard. The more advanced the keyboard is, the more likely it is to conflict with each other!

Appendix: The following documents
What is a key-bit conflict?

First, let's take a look at what is a key-bit conflict. The key-bit conflict is a problem that cannot be avoided by a finished keyboard. For example, when we press Ctrl + Alt + Del simultaneously in a computer operation, the computer only recognizes that Ctrl + Alt are pressed, but not DEL, this is called a key-bit conflict. Of course, this problem is impossible. For WINDOWS-compliant keyboards, it is not important that other key locations can be properly recognized and combined, what's important is that these three combinations can be released only when there is no key-bit conflict. Otherwise, the keyboard cannot be restarted.

The key-bit conflict is defined as follows: When two or three keys are simultaneously pressed during the keyboard operation, the keyboard can only correctly recognize the first two keys, there is no response to the third or fourth button. However, these problems often exist in the game, and the combination of WINDOWS shortcut keys is unlikely to conflict.

Generally, there are two kinds of key-bit conflicts: one is not concerned about the key-bit conflicts, or even not familiar with them at all. For example, when he is playing KOF, I found that my opponent could use the keyboard operation to release all the things necessary for XX, but I was not able to complete this operation. It was too late to regret it.

The other is very obsessed with the game's super fever FANS. They have been struggling to find the best game with "no key-bit Conflict", just as martial arts experts are frantically searching for martial arts secrets. Because of their preferences, they do not have a very clear understanding of the core issues of key-bit conflicts, so they are confused about finding their own utopia dream.

We all know that the current keyboard technology uses a non-encoding thin film contact structure. This structure means that any button has a contact between the upper and lower layers of thin film. After we take the keyboard apart, it will be found that on any layer of film, the number of wires is much less than the number of buttons, and each wire is connected to the contacts of multiple buttons at the same time, and, the upper and lower layers of any two wires can only overlap on one key. That is to say, the upper-layer line 1 may go through keys such as 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 at the same time, the lower-layer line 1 may go through keys such as 1, Q, A, and Z at the same time, and the two wires only overlap on the 1 key.

In this way, based on the buttons on the upper and lower layers of the film, you can discharge a table similar to the following:

Upper Wire 1
Upper wire 2
Upper wire 3
Upper wire 4
Upper wire 5
......

Lower Wire 1
1
2
3
4
5
......

Lower wire 2
Q
W
E
R
T
......

Lower wire 3
A
S
D
F
G
......

Lower wire 4
Z
X
C
V
B
......

......
......
......
......
......
......
......

No keyboard processing chip has a table similar to this principle. To reduce the key-bit conflicts, designers have racked their brains to modify the line arrangement and data table of the keyboard, try to avoid conflicts between common games and shortcut keys, but this is to minimize the number and is definitely not completely eliminated. Now everyone understands why the Ctrl-Alt-Del with hot boot won't conflict? Why are the four buttons not conflicted? People are not as good as humans, but some keyboards hit the Eye of the game, which leads to a key-bit conflict. Therefore, keyboards without key-bit conflicts cannot exist in the current keyboard design. If a manufacturer promotes that their keyboard (so far) has no key-bit conflicts, if not, it is quite ridiculous.

Summary:

1. as mentioned in this section, the keyboard's key-bit conflicts are linked by the designer's clever design of chip data, that is, the keyboard is using different models, when the brand Integrated Block (or the CPU of the keyboard) is used, the key-bit conflicts are not exactly the same.

2. For non-encoded keyboards, it is absolutely impossible to avoid key-bit conflicts. The solution can only be game manufacturers, keyboard manufacturers, and coordination. Try to avoid the key position ...... the remaining full text>
