Unexpected error: [ERROR] option--monitorcolors not recognized


This error may be caused by some of the extended library versions and Robotframework versions that are installed in the C:/python27/lib/site-packages folder, and you can try to upgrade the Robotframework version. Version issues such as Robotframework and Robotframework-ride

The--monitorcolors option has a been replaced with--consolecolors in Robot Framework version 2.9. The usage documentation for--consolecolors are here. You must is using the old option Somewhere-check the Arguments string in the Run tab in RIDE.

Solution: Pip Install--upgrade robotframework-ride
