How can I implement the NAT Function on a Broadband Router? Generally, the vro can use the virtual server setting and the open Host (DMZ Host ). Generally, users can define different ports for providing services as needed, while the open host is for IP addresses. The firewall function is disabled to directly map a single IP address of the LAN to an external IP address, instead of the number of ports, this method only supports one internal computer.

The most common port ing is to use internal private IP addresses for servers on the network. However, many users want to use port ing to view these server IP addresses on the Internet. Here, we need to clarify the port number of the service used. For example, the HTTP service is port 80, and the FTP service is Port 20 and port 21.

The most common port 80 is used as an example to set a virtual HTTP server. Assume that the internal HTTP Server IP address is 10.0.0.10.

Step 1, enter http: // 10.0.0.2 in the browser, go to other configuration page, modify the HASB-100 itself HTTP service port, do not close, because usually use WEB Settings HASB-100, change the HTTP server port to 81. Submit and restart.

Step 2 open the HASB-100 control page http: // 10.0.0.2: 81 enter the Virtual Server Page, enter the public port 80, Private Port 80, port type is TCP, Host IP address 10.0.0.10. Click Add settings, save and restart the HASB-100. The settings are complete. At this time, the Internet can access the internal 10.0.0.10 by entering the IP address of the HASB-100 in IE, of course, 10.0.0.10 to open the HTTP service.

Let's talk about the FTP virtual server. Note that FTP has two ports, 20 and 21, both of which must be mapped, and the method is the same as above. First, disable the FTP service for the HASB-100 on another configuration page. Submit and save. Then, add two mappings to the Virtual Server Page. Just like HTTP, we will not talk about them here.

In other settings, DMZ settings are disabled by default. You must enable this function to enable the virtual server in the LAN.

Go to the vro and click "other settings"> "NAT"> "add ".

Select "REDIRECT" as the rule type ".

Select "TCP" as the Protocol ".

Enter your computer address, for example, 192.168.0.2 ".

Select "HTTP80" as the start port. If other ports are mapped, select "any other ports" and enter the port number on the right.

Terminate the destination port, which is the same as the starting destination port. To map a port range, for example, "60000-60020", set the starting destination port to 60000 and ending destination port to 60020.

Finally, click Submit. Click advanced in the main menu, and the next menu contains a forwarding. Set webserver on the internal pc192.168.1.2 as follows:

Extport: 80to80
