Problem description:

A pc with a MAC address registered under the ruijie campus network can access the Internet normally, but the VM vmwareworkstation still cannot access the Internet normally using the following three network connections.

Problem Analysis:

You can access the Internet only when a PC that has been bound to a MAC address in the network center obtains the IP address information from the ruijie client. The NAT mode is the best choice if you want to allow both the host machine and virtual machine to access the Internet at the same time. Vmware workstation comes with VMware NAT Service and VMnetDHCP, which can assign IP addresses to virtual machines and provide address translation. The virtual machine can be connected to the Internet after the corresponding settings, but the Virtual Machine network will be disconnected again in a few minutes. After investigation, we found that the ruijie client has the network monitoring function and disables the VMware NAT Service.

Solution:

3. Enable the VMware NAT Service and VMnetDHCP services in the task manager.

4. Enable the NAT mode in Vmware workstation.
