Ruijie RG-S2126G switch password recovery practices

A ruijie RG-S2126G switch password forgotten, in order not to delay the use and configuration, decided to recover the password.
1. First, connect to the control port of the switch through a PC.
Open the Super Terminal on the pc and set 57600, data bit: 8, parity: None, stop bit: 1, data flow control: None, such:

After the switch is powered on, it will be completed within 3 seconds: click "OK" and press the "ESC" Key continuously to enter the ctrl layer of the switch.

In "put received files in the following folders", browse and select the directory where you want to store the files, and select 1 K Xmodem in "Practical receiving protocol, click "receive" and the following dialog box is displayed:

In this dialog box, enter the name of the file to be received. text, and then click "OK" to receive the file. The file will be automatically saved to the storage directory we just selected. After the transfer is successful, the area marked with red circles will be displayed ):

The file is successfully received. Use NotePad to open the "config. text" file we just received and modify the password configuration field, such as the red part:

The red text indicates the password of the configuration document in the vswitch. Delete the two statements, save the document, and send the modified document to the vswitch.
In the following dialog box of the Super Terminal, select "1"

In the file name field, select the directory where we saved the modified configuration file. In the protocol field, select 1 K Xmodem.
Click "send". The following figure is displayed when the transfer is successful:

Note that download OK in the figure indicates that the file is successfully transferred. Then, restart the switch and establish a connection to the Super Terminal. When "COM1 properties" is configured, click "Restore to default" in the lower right corner ", click "OK", and then we can enter the switch. The password has been cleared.
