Samba is a free software that implements the SMB protocol on Linux and UNIX systems. It consists of servers and client programs.
When some Samba versions are deployed as ad dc and the internal DNS server is running, users with DNS record modification permissions have the cross-border read vulnerability in processing dns txt records. Malicious clients use a crafted dns txt record to cause remote denial of service.
