Tip: To receive faxes from a computer, you must connect the printer to the computer using a data cable. At the same time, your computer must have successfully received external faxes.
1. To receive faxes from a computer, set options on the control panel first.
(1) Press [Fax] on the control panel ].
(2) press the Menu key on the control panel.
(3) Press OK when "fax function" is displayed on the screen ].
(4) press the right arrow to select "receive forwarding", and then click "OK ].
(5) press the right arrow to select forward to PC, and then click OK ].
2. Add a random disc to the optical drive and install the [Samsung Easy Printer Manager] software. If the random disc cannot be found, click here to download the software.
3. After the installation is complete, open the Samsung Easy Printer Manager software, select the corresponding machine from the Printer list, and then click advanced mode ].
4. Select "fax to PC Settings", click "enable receive fax from device", set the image type and storage location as required, and click "save ].
After the above operations are completed, the received Fax will be directly transmitted to the computer. You only need to find the file in the saved location to view it.
