I haven't written a note for a long time, because the Spring Festival is also in the development stage, but there are no semi-finished products available for testing.
I used the subtitle "not entering the status", not to identify the person, but to my overall feeling about the project, or I have not entered the status yet. Yesterday I read the blueprint report PPT prepared by ZQ. I felt that the project's senior management was not paying enough attention to it; otherwise, the PPT would be quite difficult. Reporting is just a process for performing the ASAP project process.
What I did not expect from this project is that sap CRM is a service information system for the household appliance industry, with a large amount of development. In addition to some basic functions, almost all processes involve development, instead of using most configurations like R/3, it is enhanced at most. secondary development mainly involves reports rather than functional modules. In addition, during the project, I learned that the interfaces of CRM and ECC (previously R/3) are not so "seamless ", many basic data in the SD module needs to be redefined in CRM.
Previously, I obtained a Siebel demo (similar to sap's IDES) from a friend. I tried it and felt that Siebel has many available modules in the CRM industry and is flexible. We chose sap CRM. In addition to implementing sap erp, the price is a big factor. I have gone through R/3 release, and spent time researching mm module and ABAP development. Although I have little knowledge about sap CRM, I think this is not a mature product, at least in the household appliance industry. SAP is very keen on developing platforms. In addition to monopolizing enterprise application platforms, technologies such as SOA and NetWeaver can also make the implementation of various product lines more flexible. It doesn't matter if the features of a product are not strong. You can also develop the product. As long as the business can clearly describe the requirements, you can definitely find someone to write it out. However, I don't know how stable such a project is? It may be mainly dependent on research on project requirements, the level of consultants and developers, and industry experience.
To put it bluntly, Oracle acquired a lot of good products through the acquisition. CRM has Siebel, HR has PeopleSoft, and Oracle's own CRM is actually not weak. However, Oracle is far behind sap in terms of marketing strategy and marketing. I am currently studying this and will discuss it later.
In any case, the project has reached a critical moment, and even if sap CRM crashes or is good, it can only go forward.
At present, there is another risk point, that is, the company's internal information platform uses VPN. The communication problem of China Telecom Netcom is solved through dual-link. However, to push the maintenance process to the service provider level, the CRM system needs to access the system through the portal. If the problem of CRM portal application server exit is not solved, it may be disastrous. I mentioned this to ZQ and txg privately today. They said this is another project with no fees... Is it true that bandwidth problems cannot be solved in a large area after the launch? I have to raise this question. In fact, there are no dual links in the Centra network training system and technical service BBS, so it is very troublesome to promote the technology on the external site.
Alas, the technical problems are relatively simple, and more importantly, the process and development. We hope that the last thing we will come up with will be the one we described.
