Scala Development Environment Building
Let's start with some of the reasons why I study Scala:
- The JVM's dominance in the enterprise, Scala is also the language on the JVM, and it is likely that the future will be too much from Java to Scala.
- Advanced functional programming and object-oriented integration.
- I am personally interested in big data and found that Kafka and Spark's source code are written in Scala, and if I want to learn in depth, the source code might be used in Scala.
- The production environment for Spark seems to be mainstream in Java or Scala programming, but the use of Java for developing spark programs does not use Scala to develop a high phase rate.
Scala's development environment is much better than I thought. Don't say too much nonsense down there.
First, install the JDK.
Since Scala is also a programming language for the JVM, it is necessary to install the JDK as soon as the Scala compiler is installed, the installation of the JDK is not covered here, and I have written an article about installing the JDK.
Article link is: http://blog.chinaunix.net/uid-29271139-id-4887413.html
Of course, this one was written long ago, so you can install a new version of the JDK, which is no big deal. The environment variable is the same as the old one.
Second, install Scala.
After installing the JDK, you need to install Scala.
Official address: http://www.scala-lang.org/
Select Downloads to locate the installation package under Windows (the installation package that ends in. msi).
Because the installation process is too simple to repeat, the basic is to choose a suitable directory, and then all the way next.
Third, install Scala IDE for Eclipse
Download the URL here: http://scala-ide.org/
Download button location Obviously, after downloading should be a zip package, inside the Eclipse development environment, of course, with the Scala development plug-in.
OK, so simple, Scala's development environment has been set up, the following can begin to learn the knowledge of Scala.
