Scenario 9-shared uplink set with active/active uplink, 802.3ad (lacp)-Flex-10

Source: Internet
Author: User

Summary:

Deploy sus to support multiple VLANs. Uplink enables lacp to aggregate links.

Configure VLAN trunk or VLAN tagging in the uplink switch port

Requirements:

1 c7000

Two flex-10 or flexfabric modules are installed on the interconnection modules bay1 and bay2.

2 VC-FC (Fiber Channel) modules installed on the interconnection module bay5, bay6

1 bl460 G8 server (LOM supports flex-10 technology, and a 2-port mezzanine HbA card is installed at mezzanine 1)

Installation and configuration

Switch configuration

Because virtualconnectmodul acts as an edge switch, all virtual connect instances can be connected to the distribution layer or core layer switches.

The switch port configures VLAN trunk (tagging) to support multiple VLANs of the entire network.

Switch configuration lacp supports multi-link aggregation.

Configure the switch port to Spanning Tree edge to accelerate Frame Forwarding.

San-Switch configuration supports npiv

VC Configuration

Switch_a_port_1 connects to bay1_x5

Switch_a_port_2 connects to baybench X6

Switch_ B _port_1 connects to bay1_x5

Switch_ B _port_2 connects to bay2_x6

San_switch_a_port_1 connects to bay5_x1

San_switch_a_port_2 connects to bay5_x2

San_switch_ B _port_1 connects bay6_x1

San_switch_ B _port_2 connects to bay6_x2

Define SUS (VLAN-Trunk-1)

External uplink Prots (baybench X5; baybench X6)

After deploying a VLAN, see Figure

According to the actual operation, if a VLAN in the trunk is configured as native or untagged for communication with Sus, you need to edit the VLAN configuration interface and set native to true for normal communication.
