P2v is a physical machine converted to a virtual machine. If our company used to use physical servers and now wants to use virtualization technology, p2v is a good function.

Note:

1. Disable the firewall above 2003

2. Ensure normal communication between the scvmm server and the converted Physical Machine

3. Set the administrator password for the physical machine.

4.2003 enable the default share on the Physical Machine

5. The security options in the Group Policy perform authentication in Classic mode.
