Recently, my boss asked me to sort out the papers published by the lab staff.
At first, the boss gave us a copy of the lab's own statistics.
Then the library is asked to search for a paper list data based on the list.
Then merge the two
The original records of the lab are taken for granted as accurate, so the conflicting data is deleted as part of the library.
Unexpectedly, at the end of the verification, there were a lot of errors in the data. What is true is the data provided by the Library Manager.
This is unexpected and should be confirmed to the boss in advance.
When we get into the topic, our main task is to check if the paper is indexed by the three major searches (EI, SCI, and ISTP ).
How can I check whether an article is indexed by three major indexes?
Koko map has a tool to provide a database search, maybe only the people of the cort park use: http://visualsearch.las.ac.cn/metasearch/
Page example:
Select the digest database tab and search for the paper. The result is shown in the following figure: (Note that the English name of the paper is entered. Otherwise, only the Chinese Database is retrieved by default, then you cannot confirm whether the index has been indexed by the three major indexes)
If the number of ISI Web of science is not 0, we need to further confirm whether the article is indexed by SCI or ISTP, which requires access to the site of ISI: http://apps.webofknowledge.com/WOS_GeneralSearch_input.do? SID = 1fpee6pdo2gejo13oj5 & Product = WOS & search_mode = generalsearch
For example:
Through the above steps, we can confirm which index the paper is indexed.
Sometimes there are the following problems: the Library runs out of data without journal or conference information, but the statistics need to find such information.
In fact, this is very simple. For a Chinese paper, you only need to search for the relevant information on Wanfang or cnki.
For foreign papers, you can also use the above exaggerated library for retrieval.
Or, if you have already confirmed the information to be indexed, you can directly index the website to retrieve the information faster.
For example, many of the paper list data provided by the Library does not contain journals and conference information, but most of the information is indexed by ei.
So can in: http://www.engineeringvillage.com/controller/servlet/Controller? Cid = quicksearch & database = 1
Direct retrieval, the speed is still relatively fast.
