Log analysis software Secilog 1.16 released, added cluster, offline log import, log filtering and merging, log management, configuration management and so on. In article 1.15, it is interesting to know. This upgrade mainly adds the following features:

Cluster

Mainly is the collector can be distributed cluster deployment, support scale-out, theoretically support massive data.

Two additions are added to the configuration file:

Secilog.master=true Collector Master Node flag, when it is from the node, the content to be modified to false

Master.ip= when the collector is from the node, you need to specify the IP of the master node, while ensuring that the system 7017,7018 port unblocked.

Offline log Import

Offline log import, you can upload text files to the server for analysis by the server, can support multiple files at once upload:

Clicking the Select File opens the local Select File dialog box and selects one or more text files. After selecting the file, click Start Upload. The system will upload the file to the server. To upload files on the server, the collector in the background will check every 10 minutes if there is a new upload file, if there is a new file, the background will analyze the newly uploaded files.

Log filtering and Merging:

The filter rule is that the log that satisfies the condition is ignored directly, and the storage operation is not carried out.

The merge rule refers to the simultaneous logging of logs that meet the same conditions in multiple logs into a single log record into the database.

Log Management:

Log management is primarily the management of logs, including the deletion and backup of logs. As the log is constantly increasing, when the disk is insufficient, it will seriously affect the operation of the system. Therefore, when the disk space is less than 80%, the system background will force the deletion of the log. Of course, you can also delete it manually through log management.

Configuration Management

Configuration management is the management of backup and recovery of configurations in the system. The backup configuration can be downloaded for offline backup.
