Section II VMware View 6.0 rookie starter VSphere 5.5 installation and configuration

There are two ways of installing vsphere 5.5:

First, use the optical drive installation.

Second, use a USB stick to install.

Regardless of the type of installation, the VSphere 5.5 installation steps are the same:

First step: Select "Esxi-5.5.0-20140902001-standard Installer"

Fifth step: Choose you to install vsphere 5.5 on that storage and press "Enter" to select "Continue (Continue)"

Nineth step: Select "Reboot (restart)"

Tenth step: Wait for the restart to complete and enter the VMware ESXI 5.5 interface. Press "F2" to enter "system customization", you need to enter the root password when entering. After entering, press "enter"

12th Step: Configure the Management network, select "IP configuration (IP)" Press "Enter"

13th step: Select Set static IP address and network configuration (configure static IP) and press the SPACEBAR to select.

14th Step: Select "IP Address" to configure your own static IP 192.168.254.1, after configuration, press "Enter"

We can see that the static IP is 192.168.254.1, if the configuration is not the same as the description, you do not save the configuration.
