After opening the Dreamweaver, you can work directly in its window to design a page. Before use, it is best to save this page file, so as to avoid inserting images, plug-ins or referencing various external files to the page in the future, it will cause trouble on the file path.

Open an existing page, click File\open, or use the shortcut key to Ctrl+o, and then select a paging file.

　

For pages edited with Dreamweaver, be careful to preview their effects in a browser. Use the shortcut key F12, or click your default browser from File\preview in browser to preview the effect you are editing the page with your default browser.

　

Dreamweaver can also enter HTML documents that are generated in Word. The Web page generated with Word has a lot of redundant code, which is inconvenient, and now Dreamweaver can do special processing of the HTML documents generated by word and clear the redundant code. There are two ways to handle this.

The first method is to open the text in a normal way, and then click Commands\clean up Word Html .... This will pop up the clean Up Word HTML dialog box.
Another way to do this is to click File\import\import Word HTML directly, and then open the Word HTML document you want and automatically pop up the clean Up Word HTML dialog box.

The following is a detailed explanation:
Clean up HTML from: Select from the Drop-down menu below to use either word 97/98 or word2000 generated HTML file. Dreamweaver will automatically judge and choose, you can manually change.
Remove all Word specific markup: Remove the special markup for word.
Clean up CSS: Clears the CSS markup that word adds.
Clean up <font> Tags: clear extra <font> tags.
Fix invalidly nested tags: fix the incorrect HTML tags.
Set Background color: Sets the background color of the page. Dreamweaver automatically sets the color to white.
Apply source Formatting: Apply Preferences ... The settings for HTML format in.
Show Log On completion: Displays a detailed report after processing is complete.

　

Click Detailed and the dialog box turns to detailed mode.
