1, installation SecureCRT

2. Setting up a virtual machine
Click the virtual machines in VMware-"settings." Select the network adapter, choose Bridge Mode
3. CentOS Setup
First turn off the firewall:
By command: Service iptables stop can be turned off
Command: Service iptables status to view the state of the firewall.
You can use the above address to connect to the CentOS virtual machine when using SECURECRT.
If the CentOS set is to obtain IP automatically, then the SECURECRT client should be modified frequently, so it is necessary to set the Centosip as static IP (the experimental environment is not set or not related)
4. Set up a CentOS static IP
Method 1) Modify the NIC configuration: Vim/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
Bootproto: Set the way the network card obtains the IP, the possible options are static, DHCP, BOOTP.
Add or modify the following content:
Method 2) Modify the gateway configuration Vim/etc/sysconfig/network
Networking=yes (Indicates whether the system uses a network and is generally set to Yes.) If set to no, the network cannot be used, and many system services programs will not start.
Hostname=centos (Set the hostname of this machine, the host name set here should correspond to the hostname set in/etc/hosts)
gateway=192.168.0.1 (Sets the IP address of the gateway for the native connection. )

Restart the service, perform service network restart or/etc/init.d/network restart
If the address becomes your own modified address, and you can surf the Internet, it means it's fine.
