In the latest Adobe Flash Player 9.0.124, multiple security policy changes are made. If your application uses Socket or xmlsocket, pay special attention to it, otherwise, your application will not run correctly.
According to the official statement:
Adobe Flash Player 9.0.124.0 includes the security enhancement feature described in the Security Bulletin APSB08-11.
Now, you can use the cross-origin policy file to support cross-origin network headers. Cross-origin policy files are required for sending and loading requests.
Currently, all socket connections require the socket policy file. You can no longer use the HTTP cross-origin policy file to authorize sockets. Security change * in Flash Player 9 introduces this change.
The swf7 content loaded by Flash Player 9.0.124.0 uses "samedomain" as the default allowScriptAccess setting.
