Server settings of the Serv-U ftp Server

Take Serv-u ftp Server 6.1.0.5 final [Latest Version] as an example. We recommend that you use the Chinese version s.jb51.net (to undertake Server security settings)

Install the original version to D: \ Serv-U_3434999fdaf [complex and rule-free directory names can effectively prevent hacker guesses]

Then exit Serv-U and install the Chinese package.

Run the SERV-U manager IP address to set a password for empty, installed for system services to prevent overflow

PASV settings

Serv-umanager> <local Server> Settings> advanced

PASV port range here the SERV-U only allows the setting range of 50 port Range ports such as 1025-1075 [ports earlier than 1024 are used by the system]

Server Settings

% MaxUsers-display the maximum number of users that can log on to the server at the same time

User Information

% IP-display the IP address of the login user
% Dir-display the current directory of the logged-in user
% Disk-displays the current Disk of the login user
% DFree-displays the current disk space of the login user, in MB
% FUp-display the number of files uploaded by the Login User
% FDown-display the number of files downloaded by the Login User
% FTot-display the total number of files uploaded and downloaded by the Login User
% BUp-display the number of bytes uploaded by the login user, in KB
% Bdown-display the number of bytes downloaded by the login user, in KB
% BTot-display the total number of bytes uploaded and downloaded by the login user, in KB
% TconM-display the logon user connection time, in minutes
% TconS-display the Login User connection time, in seconds, to be used with % TconM
% RatioUp-display the upload traffic limit of login users
% RatioDown-display the download traffic limit for login users
% RatioCredit-shows how many credits a login user can upload and download. This is set for how many FTP files are to be uploaded and how many files can be downloaded.
% QuotaUsed-shows the space used by the login user, in KB
% QuotaLeft-shows how much space the login user can use, in KB
% QuotaMax-display the maximum space of the login user, in KB
The last three items are set for users with disk restrictions.
