Server performance decreases after the upgrade from Domino 7.x to Domino 8.0.1

Problem description:

When a user from Lotus? Domino? After server 7.x is upgraded to 8.x, the server runs slowly periodically, causing the user to be unable to connect to the server.

This problem occurs when the server is upgraded to 8.x but names. nsf is not updated to the 8.x template. The server runs slowly periodically, and then restores itself to normal.

IBM has added some new features since Lotus Notes/Domino 8.0. These new features include Lotus Notes? Traveler, Lotus activities, and Lotus Symphony productivity tools (text processing, workbooks, presentations, and other software ). As part of these new features, the template of the Domino Directory has also been modified. You need to query a new view when logging on to the server. Because this view does not exist in the 7.x template, View query will eventually fail. During the query process, other users' login requests must be queued up. After the View query fails, the next user login request can be processed. This causes the client to report that the server does not respond.

There are two ways to solve this problem:
1) Replace the names. nsf design with the 8.x template.
2) Contact IBM technical support to apply for disabling patches for the above new features
