Server2008r2wsus deployment uses Group Policy for unified management

Note: This step is for domain users to set up the WSUS server uniformly through Group Policy. If you are not a domain user, but a separate workgroup user, you can set it through local Group Policy.
1) Login DC01 server with domain management.
2) Open Active Directory users and computers.
3) Right-click to select New organizational unit.

Right-Select the newly created GPO and choose Edit. Expand Computer Configuration---policies---Administrative templates---Windows Components, and then click Windows Update.

Create and manage Computer groups
Note: This step allows clients to be grouped to differentiate between different operating system versions, unused usage, and so on. (optional)
1) Select Updtae Services---WSUS---computers, right-click All computers, and select Add Computer group.
