Set and change the password of MySQL in Windows

Source: Internet

If the root password is not set during installation, you can directly press Enter when logging on using the MySQL command line tool.

However, you must set a password when connecting some tools. The simplest method:

Go to the bin directory of the MySQL installation directory, use the command line to switch to this directory, and use the mysqladmin tool:

Mysqladmin-u root-P password 123456

If it is modified, add the current password after-P.

123456 your new password, of course. When you log on to the MySQL command line client again, you need to enter the password and the output will crash.

When a common error occurs, you can directly use the MySQL command line client to perform the mysqladmin operation, which is not OK ..
