In the Word2007 document, users can set clip art brightness in two ways, as described in this tutorial.
1. Set clip art brightness in the picture Tools ribbon
Open the Word2007 document window and select the clip art you want to set the brightness for. On the Format tab of the Picture Tools ribbon, click the Brightness button in the adjustments group to select in the Open Brightness adjustment value -40%-+40% range, which is incremented by 10%, as shown in Figure 2009032001.

2. Set clip art brightness in the Format Picture dialog box
If you want to make finer settings for the clip's brightness, you can do so in the Format Picture dialog box, as described in the following procedure:
Step 1th, open the Word2007 document window and select the clip art you want to set the brightness for. On the Format tab of the Picture Tools ribbon, click the Brightness button in the adjustments group, and select the picture Correction Options command from the Open menu, as shown in Figure 2009022702.

Step 2nd, open the WORD2007 Format Picture dialog box, adjust the brightness spinner in the Picture tab, and set the clip's brightness in 1% increments, as shown in Figure 2009022703.
