Today's popular match is MashUps, which also applies to the online world, wired technology mix and match wireless technology, the integrated application of the two, to achieve the optimal effect of the network. Why not?

Hybrid route settings 1. Check required configurations

To determine the cause of the fault, perform the following checks before conducting other checks.

If you still use Windows 98 and other operating systems, you can perform the following checks to open "My Computer> Control Panel> network ". Then, select the Add button and select "file sharing for MICROSOFT Network and printer" in the "service" column ". Then, select "attributes" in the "Network neighbors" icon and select the "ID" option in the "network" dialog box that appears. In the "Working Group" input box, make sure that the two computers are in the same working group (the working group name is the same). The "computer name" is different. Select "Windows login" in the login mode so that the two can see and share data in the network neighbors.

First, you need to determine whether the names of the two computers are set to the same. Some home users often ignore this when installing the operating system. To change the computer name, open the "my computer" property, click the "computer name" tab, and then click "change ". In the "computer name" box, type different computer names, such as A1 and A2, and enter the same name for the two computers in the "Working Group", such as 168, click OK ".

In addition, if you have not logged on to the network, click Start and then logout ". Click or enter the user name. If a prompt is displayed, enter the password to log on to the network as an administrator.

Hybrid route settings II. Basic settings

Open "Network neighbors", double-click to open "Network Installation Wizard", "Next ". In "do you want to use a shared connection", select "no". Let me select another method to connect to the Internet ". On the "select connection method" Page, select "this computer is connected to the Internet through a residential gateway or another computer" and click "Next ". In "Provide description and name to this computer", give the computer an easy-to-remember "computer name", such as A1, and ensure that the names of the two computers are different, the "computer description" can be entered at will, and then click "Next ".

On the "Name your network" Page, enter the same working group name for the computer in the LAN, for example, 168, and click "Next ". On the file and printer sharing page, select enable file and printer sharing (Windows Firewall is configured to allow file and printer sharing on the network )", enabling file and printer sharing will allow everyone on the network to access the "shared documents" folder, and everyone can access the "shared printer", "Next ", the Wizard will configure network sharing for this computer.

Finally, on the quick completion page, select "finish this wizard, I don't need to run this wizard on other computers" in "create network and Install Disk" and other options ", click "finish.

The setting method of another computer is the same as that of the same method. You only need to set "computer name" to a name different from that of A1. for example, A2. After the computer is restarted, the names of the two computers in "Network neighbors" will be displayed directly after several seconds.

Open a computer name of "Network Neighbor", and the "Shared Files (including shared videos, shared images, and shared music)" of the computer is displayed directly. If you move or copy a file or folder to a shared document, anyone with a user account on your local network and computer can access it.

To share a drive or folder on the Network (you cannot Log On As a guest), open Windows Resource Manager and locate the drive or folder to be shared. Right-click the drive or folder and click share and security ". If the drive is shared, on the share tab, click here if you are aware of the risk but want to share the root directory of the drive ".

Hybrid route settings III. Other classic problems

After the above settings, in the LAN connected through a wireless router, the two computers in the network neighbor can see each other and share each other. If you still cannot see each other or share files, pay attention to the following points:

First, pay attention to the firewall. Run the ping command to Ping the IP addresses of other hosts and check whether the connection to other computers is normal. After the Win2000/XP/2003 system is installed, two user accounts will be created by default, namely, Administrator (System Administrator) and Guest (Guest Account, you cannot create shared folders. Third, adding the NetBEUI protocol can solve the problem of mutual access and firewall problems.

Check whether NetBIOS on TCP/IP is enabled. You can open "Network Neighbor" and "properties", double-click "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" on the "General" tab, and click "advanced" in the lower right corner, go to the "Advanced TCP/IP Settings" dialog box, select the "WINS" tab, and select the "enable NetBIOS on TCP/IP" option under "NetBIOS Settings" (if the LAN uses the DHCP service, select "default ").

However, if a host with Windows 2003, XP, and is installed, although the host with Windows 98 can be found in "Network neighbors", it cannot be accessed, this is because "allow other users to access my files" is not enabled in Windows 98. Enable this option.

By default, Windows XP requires all users to use the "Guest" account when accessing the computer over the network. This approach aims to prevent Internet hackers from using a local administrator account without a password to log on to and access the system. If your XP does not enable the Guest account by default, enable the Guest account. You can find the "Guest" account in "Control Panel> Administrative Tools> Computer Management> local users and groups> Users" and Right-click the account to open the "Guest properties" dialog box, remove the check mark on the "Account Disabled" check box.
