In Word2010, in addition to the overall style settings for your SmartArt graphic, you can also set shape styles and WordArt for shapes and text (refer to the tutorial "setting SmartArt graphic text WordArt style in Word2010"). This example tutorial describes how to set the shape style, as described in the following steps:
Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and select the shape you want to set the shape style to.
Step 2nd, open the SmartArt Tools/Formatting Ribbon, and select the appropriate shape style in the list of styles in the Shape Styles group, as shown in Figure 2011071401.

Tip: If the user needs a richer shape style, for more advanced settings, such as three-dimensional rotation, bevel, glow, shadow, and so on, you can click the shape fill, shape outline, shape effects button, respectively, in the Shape Styles group, as shown in Figure 2011071402.
