1 Preface

In Bowen "intellij Idea's HelloWorld project creation and related profile introduction, we've created the first Java project HelloWorld with IntelliJ idea, as shown in the following illustration:

Looking at the above picture, do you have any questions, for example, the entire interface of the font is not too small a bit ah. Do not know how people feel, anyway, bloggers see such a small font, when really dizzy ah. So, next, let's try to reset the theme and font of IntelliJ idea, and see what kind of pattern we look at most comfortably. 2 Theme Modifications 2.1 Interface Theme Modification

As shown in the figure above, click the files-> Settings and go to the following interface:

Callout 1: Theme selection, callout 2:darcula, IntelliJ and Windows, three topics.

As shown in the figure above, we navigate to the Appearance & Behavior > Appearance interface, IntelliJ idea on the Windows system provides three themes by default: Darcula, IntelliJ, and Window S Among them, except that Darcula is a black background theme, the remaining two are all white background themes. Here, take the Windows theme for example, and demonstrate the modified effect:

As shown in the figure above, this is a pure white theme after selecting the Windows theme and clicking Apply. 2.2 Code Edit area Subject Modification

Callout 1: Theme selection area, callout 2:default and Darcula, two themes.

As shown in the figure above, we navigate to the Editor > Colors & Fonts Interface, IntelliJ idea on the Windows system provides two edit area themes, respectively: Default and Darcula. Where defaults is the default theme; Darcula is the black theme. Here, we take the Darcula theme as an example to illustrate the modified effect:

As shown in the figure above, this is the black Edit area theme after selecting the Darcula theme and clicking Apply.

Through the above demo, we already know, whether the interface or edit area of the theme can be modified, specific how to modify, it depends on our mood. For bloggers, it's more like darcula themes, so in the next section, we'll show them under the Darcula theme. 3 Font Modifications 3.1 Interface Theme font modification

Callout 1: Overrides the default font (required), callout 2: A numeric value that can modify the font size.

As shown in the figure above, we navigate to the Appearance & Behavior > Appearance interface, and if you are sure that you want to modify the font size, the override default fonts as shown in callout 1 is required by xxx, Otherwise, you cannot modify the font, because IntelliJ idea is not recommended by default, as shown in callout 2 , which specifies the number of font sizes that we can modify. Here, select Size 14 to demonstrate the modified effect:

As shown in the figure above, this is the choice of size 14, click Apply after the effect, obviously the interface theme of the font has become significantly larger a lot.

One thing to be aware of here is that some fonts contain Chinese and some do not contain Chinese. in general, countries that use English do not need to worry about garbled questions, but we need them. If we choose the font does not contain Chinese words, many locations may appear similar to the mouth mouth of such a garbled problem. For example, Courier new and Monaco are pure English fonts, and Microsoft Yahei is the font that contains Chinese. 3.2 Code Edit area Font modification

Callout 1:save as theme (required), Callout 2: Show only equal width fonts, callout 3: Number of specific sizes of font, Callout 4: ruled (distance between lines), callout 5: Second font, callout 6: Font, size, and line width sample display area.

As shown in the figure above, we navigate to the Editor > Colors & Fonts > Font interface, and the Save as shown in callout 1 shows that we need to copy another edit area theme before we can modify it because IntelliJ idea is not The font can be modified directly on the default code template; The show only monospaced fonts shown in Callout 2 indicates that only the equal-width fonts on the system are displayed, and all installed fonts on the system are displayed when the check is unchecked. The secondary font shown in callout 5 represents the second font, because IntelliJ idea's encoded font has "first font" and "second font" points, and when some characters are not supported in the first font, the second font is automatically used for support. Here, we select size 16 to demonstrate the modified effect:

As shown in the figure above, this is the effect of selecting Size 16 and clicking Apply, obviously the font of the edit area theme has become much larger. 3.3 Console output font modification

As shown above, we navigate to the Editor > Colors & Fonts > Console font interface, and we will see that this interface and editor > Colors & Fonts > Font interface are complete It's all the same, so we're not going to go through this again. Here, we select size 14 to demonstrate the modified effect:

As shown in the figure above, this is the choice of size 14, click Apply after the effect, run the program, the console output font appears large, but also a lot clearer.
