Set the FQDN of Ubuntu

FQDN refers to FullQualifiedDomainName. On a Linux host, you must set the/etc/hostname and/etc/hosts files. For example, add a line 10.150.140.103gitlab.bigdata.letv.cngitlab to the/etc/hostname server of my new configuration with gitlab/etc/hosts under

FQDN refers to Full Qualified Domain Name. On a Linux host, you need to set the/etc/hostname and/etc/hosts files.

For example, on my new server

/Etc/hostname

Gitlab

Add a line in/etc/hosts

10.150.140.103 gitlab.bigdata.letv.cn gitlab

Run the following command to re-read the hostname file:

Hostname-F

View the FQDN

# Hostname-f

Gitlab.bigdata.letv.cn

This is the complete domain name.
