Set the open IE10 in the Start screen to modern Full-screen version

When you click the Internet Explorer tile icon in the Start screen and the desktop IE10 browser version (which looks like Internet Explorer 9) is turned on, how do I get this tile to open the new modern UI IE10?

If the current default browser is set to non-IE browsers, the IE10 will open in desktop mode and look similar to IE9. In addition, IE magnets have a smaller letter "E", which shows the word "Internet Explorer".

If you set IE10 as the default browser, IE10 opens in the new modern UI browser. IE magnets have a larger letter "E", and the word "Internet Explorer" is shown below.

To set up Internet Explorer as your default browser, do the following:

In the Start screen, type default program and select Apply Filter.

In the search results, click or click Default Program.

Click or click "Set your default program".

Select Internet Explorer from the list.

Select Set this program as default, and then tap or click OK.

Close Set default program.
