Set the system screensaver password why it doesn't work

Q: I'm using the Windows XP system and I've chosen to "Use password protection on recovery" in the Screen saver window, but it's strange that it doesn't work. After the screensaver is started, moving the keyboard or mouse will end the screensaver, and there is no window to enter the password!

A: Under Windows XP, it does not work with the "Password protected on recovery" selection. Right-click on the desktop to open properties, select "Advanced" in the Power Options Properties window, and check "Prompt for password when computer resumes from standby." In addition, Windows XP has a different password for screensavers and Windows 9x, which cannot be set separately and can only be opened using the user's password at system logon.
