Set up a common template in a Word2010 document

Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window and switch to the development tools Ribbon. Click the Document Template button in the Templates group, as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2nd, switch to the Templates tab in the Open templates and Add-Ins dialog box, and then click the Add button in the common templates and add-ons area, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 3rd, open the Add Template dialog box, locate and select the Word2010 template that you want to set as a common template, and click OK, as shown in Figure 3.

Step 4th, return to the templates and Add-Ins dialog box, and click OK to apply the current settings, as shown in Figure 4.
