Set up NOD32 to upgrade the server

1. Prepare for server setup:
1) Windows2003 or Windows2000 Server Edition with preinstalled IIS

2) NOD32 2.7 administrator Edition

2. after the NOD32 2.7 administrator is installed, click the NOD32 icon in the lower-right corner of the screen and select "Upgrade" in the interface shown in the figure. After the upgrade is completed, return to the graphic interface and select "image" (the standard version is usually used. The most direct difference between the standard version and the Administrator version is that there is no "image" option) click "Settings" on the right-side interface"

3. In the pop-up setting interface, first find Chinese in the "available version" column

4. Set "upgrade image folder ",The upgrade folder set here must be consistent with the folder set later in IISThe main function of this folder is to back up the NOD32 virus database to this folder for sharing. After the configuration is complete, select "create upgrade image ".

5. after setting, click "OK" to return to the "image" window and select "Upgrade ". after this operation is completed, the settings for the NOD32 administrator Version are completed. Next, you need to set IIS.

6. After Entering IIS settings, right-click "default website" and choose "properties" from the context menu"

7. Select the "website" column and set the IP address. Note that the IP address here should be a local address. Click the drop-down list and select. My local address is 202.115.166.15, so myUpgrade serversThe address is http: // 202.115.166.15. After the IP address is set, set the TCP port, which is generally set to port 80. If there are other needs, set it to another port.

8. Select "Directory Security" and click "edit" in "authentication and access control"

9. Select "enable Anonymous Access" as shown in the following figure. If you want the other party to enter the ID and password during the upgrade, set the password here.

10. Select "main directory" and set "local path ",The path set here must be the same as the path set in step 1; otherwise, the upgrade fails..

11. Select the "HTTP header" column and click "MIME type" in "MIME type.

12. In the displayed window, select "new"

13. In the input box, enter and click confirm to exit.

14. After the above operations are completed, the NOD32 is set up.Upgrade serversHowever, access is still unavailable, which is mainly caused by firewall settings. The following uses Windows Firewall as an example to describe how to set a firewall.

15. Find "Windows Firewall" in "Control Panel", and select "exceptions" in the settings page.

16. Click "add Port"

17. In the displayed input box, enter "Port name" and "port number ".Note that the port number set here must be the same as that set in step 7th, and select this port as TCP. The operation is completed after the addition is complete.
