Attention
Here if the shortcut key you specified needs to be valid in all documents, you can save the settings to a generic template by selecting the Normal.dot option in the Save changes in Drop-down list. Because the commands in the Commands list box are listed in each tab, users often do not know what the command does, and in fact, after you select the command, the user can see the Chinese explanation of the command in the Description column of the dialog box. When you click the Specify button, the shortcut keys move to the current shortcut list box on the left, and the user can re-enter the new shortcut key in the Press new shortcut text box. In addition, when you select an existing shortcut key in the current shortcut list box, the Delete button in the dialog box is available, and clicking the button deletes the currently selected shortcut key.
3, click OK to close the Word Options dialog box, place the insertion point cursor where you want to insert the item number in the document, insert the current default item number by pressing the set shortcut, and the paragraph is automatically set to the appropriate style, as shown in Figure 3.

Attention
On the Start tab, in the paragraph group, when you click the Down Triangle button on the number button, the most recently used numbering style in the recently used numbering format column of the open style list lists the most recent number styles, and the item number that you add by using the shortcut is actually the first option in this list.
