Setting up a wireless network to share an Internet connection (1)

Traveling with laptops to other places is common. However, when many people share a hotel room, we may often encounter the trouble of having access to the Internet at the same time, this is because most hotel rooms only provide customers with one Internet connection. That is to say, at a certain time, only one customer can use the only network interface in the room to surf the Internet, even if other customers carry their laptops, they cannot share an Internet connection to surf the Internet at the same time.

In this case, if there is no vswitch or hub, is there no way for multiple laptops to share a single network interface for simultaneous surfing? Preparations before building a wireless network

Before using the wireless network adapter program "flashlink anyway" to build a wireless network, let's get to know this tool first! The "flashlink anyway" program is developed based on the IGRS standard. It is a LAN P2P tool software closely integrated with Windows systems, the program provides a wide range of functional components, including wireless network configuration, instant messaging, file sharing and sending.

With the help of the wireless network configuration function, we can easily build a simple wireless network without a vswitch or router. As long as all the laptops switch to the same wireless network at the same time, they can be automatically discovered between them, without the need to provide a separate server on the LAN. For Internet sharing features commonly used by many users, a simple Wizard is also designed without advanced network knowledge, this allows multiple laptops to share an Internet connection channel to access the Internet at the same time. Using the File Sending function, we can easily transfer files to each other in a wireless LAN, LAN users do not need to configure IP addresses, find workstation, share access, and then download other cumbersome operations, as long as the destination file to be transferred in the point, then, send it to the target user in the wireless network.

After learning about the "flashlink anyway" program, what we need to do now is to select a laptop and connect it to the only network outlet provided in the hotel room through a twisted pair cable, to facilitate the description, we will use this laptop as the server side of the wireless LAN, and all other laptops that share Internet access through this computer are called clients. After the physical cables are connected, configure the server's Internet parameters according to the conventional method to ensure that the server can surf the Internet normally through local connections.
