Divided by 802.1X protocol, it can be divided into 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, and 802.11n, which is commonly referred to as 11 M, 54 M, 108 M, and M wireless routes. Currently, the mainstream wireless routing products on the market are 54M, and most of the prices are also around 200 yuan. Many brands such as Linksys, NETGEAR, D-Link, and TP-Link are available for consumers.

We also need to note that wireless signals are greatly affected by the environment during transmission. load-bearing walls, glass doors, metals, and so on will all become factors for signal attenuation, the intensity of wireless signals varies in different locations at home.

Now that we understand the relevant knowledge, let's start to build our own wireless network. Connect the device first.

We connect the telephone line to the modem (modem), and then pull a network cable from the modem to connect to the wireless route. We can see from left to right: telephone lines, network cables, and power cables.

 

Connect to "cat"

It is the connection status of the wireless route, the black on the left is the power cord, and the rightmost is the network cable connected to the "cat". We connect to the WAN port of the wireless route. Because we still have desktops to access the Internet, we will connect a network cable from the LAN port of the wireless route to the network card of the desktop, that is, the medium yellow network cable.
