Settings of Visual Studio color scheme and precautions

Vs's default settings show different colors for different parts of the Code, used to distinguish different objects. For example, the keywords are in blue and the method name is in red. First, the font size is too small and the default value is 9. On the current high-resolution computer, it seems really hard to increase the font size. Second, the background color is white. It looks very clear. After a long time, the eyes will be a little too bright, let alone a few hours.

Vs itself provides the setting method. Take vs2003 as an example. Choose tools> Options> environment> font and color. We recommend that you change the font size to 12, and the foreground color is black by default, select "light gray" for the background color directly from the lower Larry. This is the method I have been using vs2003 for a long time. Later, vs2005 was used to set the color and font of each item, but it was too cumbersome to ignore it. I accidentally discovered that the vs color scheme can be downloaded on the Internet, so I knew that vs2005 was able to import and export the font and color settings. The operation is also simple. First download the file with the suffix ". vssettings", select "Tools" -- "Import and Export Settings" -- ", and complete the settings step by step according to the wizard.

Note that this environment setting includes not only the font and color, but also other environment settings, such as panel arrangement. During import, you can only select the settings you want to overwrite, the rest are abandoned.

In addition, the configuration file of vs2008 cannot be directly imported into vs2005, which can be opened in a common editor. in the vssettings file, change the version number from 9.0 to 8.0, which means the import can be completed. It is applicable to the font and color parts, and other settings are not tested.

Finally, it should be noted that I almost lost my mind when I encountered a problem. After the import, I found that it could not be saved. The specific situation is that everything is normal after the import. Once the project is re-opened, or open the tool menu (do not save), the color changes immediately, the file read-only and NTFS permissions have been checked, and it is useless to create a new configuration file, or even suspected that there is a problem with vs installation, the final cause is the vassistx control. In the options-> advanced-> font and color of vassistx, deselect the enhance syntax color check box to check whether everything is normal.

I have attached my current use. I like the black background, and I don't want to shake my eye at all. More style Baidu, a lot ...... You may need to fine-tune it based on your preferences. Some colors may be eye-catching under the background color.
