Xdebug is a Swiss army knife for debugging and tracking PHP under Ubuntu, a necessary tool in the PHP development process, which was installed in Ubuntu last night, recording the installation process.

The first is to have a PHP environment

I am using the pecl download installation, which eliminates the trouble of manual compilation

If there is no pecl installed under the php-pear, but pecl download or source code, download will be automatically compiled, the period will be used to a phpize dongdong, if not phpize installed under the Php5-dev

My whole process is as follows ...

sudo apt-get install Php-pear

sudo apt-get install Php5-dev

sudo pecl install Xdebug

After the download installation has been compiled, add in the php.ini

Extension=xdebug.so

And

[Zend]

zend_extension= "/usr/local/php/modules/xdebug.so"

Restart Apache should be OK.
