With the demand for ultra-large capacity and ultra-high speed network transmission, it is only a matter of time that the MHz bandwidth cannot fully meet people's needs. As a result, seven types of Integrated cabling systems have been selected, and their bandwidth can be up to 600MZ. However, considering various practical problems, seven types of systems have not been widely used. Is it too early to apply seven types of systems? What is the reason?
Based on the above problems, today, vcom analyzes the reasons in five aspects.
The first aspect is restricted by the construction life cycle
Currently, the service life of commercial buildings in China is around 30 years. The cabling system only needs to meet the bandwidth requirements for up to 30 years. Seven types of systems have been established in advance, it may not be really effective yet, so we need to rebuild it together with the building.
Second, high costs
Because the bandwidth requirements of the seven types of products are all shielded products, the manufacturing and construction costs are much higher than those of the six and six types of systems. In addition, the seven types of interfaces are not uniform, the range of device selection is very small, which leads to a high overall cost of 7 types of systems, or even higher than the cost of optical fiber products.
Third, standards are not uniform
Although the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) held several meetings as early as 1997 to define Class 7/Class F performance requirements and select a standard interface, there was still no unified interface, only two interfaces, namely, fuse and GG45, proposed by Simon and nexson, were validated. In the latest TIA568C standard, TIA, the organization that has the greatest impact on Integrated Wiring, the criteria for more than 6 categories are clearly defined, and there is no final conclusion on the criteria for 7 categories. Therefore, the unification and refinement of the seven standards still require time for research and formulation.
Fourth, interfaces are not uniform
If a system is to be popularized quickly, it requires compatible interfaces. The main field of Integrated Wiring is the RJ interface. After the FCC defines and unifies the RJ interface, all major manufacturers have adopted compatible RJ interfaces, and Integrated Wiring has started to develop rapidly. Currently, seven types of interfaces do not have uniform interface standards, and products of different manufacturers cannot be compatible, this has a certain impact on the popularity of 7 types of products.
Fifth, the application is not popularized
The Research of technology is always too advanced, while the actual application has a delay. A typical example is that the six types of systems have matured in the late 1980s s and early 1990s S. In recent years, with the popularization of gigabit network applications, the six types of systems have reached more than 85% of the wiring market share, this is because of the development of network applications. Therefore, it takes a long time to popularize 7 types of systems, because most of the applications of customers are far from the standards of 7 types of systems.
In summary, we can see that although advanced technologies are good, they are not applicable to everyone. For the selection of integrated wiring systems, different choices need to be made based on different needs. What suits you is a rational choice, it will only increase the system investment and idle resources.
