Several "Automated" applications in Windows XP

Using computers efficiently and quickly may be the pursuit of every friend. Of course, I am no exception! This is not the case. In the Windows XP system, I tried to find out the following "Automated" applications and did not dare to enjoy them exclusively.

I. Automatic Fragment

Step 2: click "OK". The system automatically connects to the Internet and automatically compares the system clock in the computer with the clock on the specified server, if it is not found accurate, it can be adjusted automatically.
TIPS: If a firewall is installed on your computer, automatic time correction may fail.

Iv. Automated Fault Diagnosis

Is it because I have been tired of a small network fault for a long time? Using the Automatic Network diagnosis function in Windows XP, it is not very tiring to find faults:

Step 1: Click program> attachment> System Tools> system information in the Start menu to open the system information window;

Step 2: In this window, click the "Tools> Network diagnosis" command in the menu bar. In the subsequent window, you can click the function button to perform various diagnostic test operations;

Step 3: after the test is complete, you can view the diagnostic information such as "not configured", "enabled", or "normal" in the result window, and analyze the information carefully, you can quickly find out the causes of network faults.

V. Automated shutdown and sleep

Is there such an experience? Just got off the elevator and suddenly remembered that the computer was not shut down. What should I do? Let's take a look at this trick to enable the computer to automatically shut down at a specified time.

Step 1: Windows XP provides users with advanced power management functions. Click Start> Settings> control panel, double-click performance and maintenance, and double-click power options ", open the "power options" Property Window;

Step 2: On the "power usage" tab, set "System sleep" to "one hour later ";

6. automatically lock the computer

Right-click the desktop, select Properties, click the screen saver tab in the displayed Properties window, and select a screen saver, click "wait" and enter a time, for example, 1 minute.
