1. System Volume Information folder
After system restoration is enabled, it stores all operation information on the partition after the Restore point is set. By default, only the System account is allowed to access the expected folder in the ntfs partition, while the general account, including the Administrator, is not allowed to access the folder. Fat32 partitions are not restricted.
2. pagefile. sys file
The system disk exists, which is a windows page file, that is, a virtual memory file. The size is generally 1.5-2.5 times of the physical memory. The virtual memory file can be set to another partition, but this partition cannot be formatted in windows.
3. hiberfil. sys file
In the system disk, this large file is a sleep file generated after the sleep function is enabled. When sleep is enabled, the computer saves the data in the memory on the hard disk and restores it to the previous state. After the sleep is canceled, the sleep file is automatically cleared.
4. thumbs. db File
It exists in the image folder and will still be generated after deletion, increasing as the number of images increases. It is not a virus, but a cache database file used to speed up thumbnail display. You can set: In "Folder Options", select "Do not cache thumbnails" to delete this file.
5. Recycled folder
Recycle Bin. Each partition exists and the deleted files are temporarily stored. You can set the size of the recycle bin.
6. Favorites folder
The icon is a star, which is a favorite and stores your favorite URLs. You can add URL shortcuts and folder shortcuts to the shortcut, and create a category (folder ).
7. SendTo folder
It contains the content "sent" by right-clicking and you can paste the folder shortcut in it.
8. temp folder
Stores temporary windows files. Junk files can be deleted.
9. Recent folder
History of recently opened documents.
10. Temporary Internet Files Folder
Temporary files in IE browser, including web pages, images, and cookies, can be deleted to prevent leakage of privacy.
