According to the plan, by the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan, the number of telephone users in Shanghai reached 38 million, and the number of fixed phone users continued to decline to about 8 million. mobile phone users continued to grow, about 30 million users, of which 3G and LTE mobile phone users account for more than 70%.
At the same time, in terms of the Internet, there are more than 18 million Internet users, and the Internet penetration rate has increased to more than 70%. The number of broadband access users has exceeded 7 million, and the number of mobile Internet users (including application terminals) has reached 24 million, compared with the end of the "11 th Five-year Plan" period, the growth rate exceeds 40% and 70% respectively.
In addition, the plan also mentions the revenue growth goal. It is estimated that the Shanghai communications business revenue will exceed 260 billion RMB by the end of the 12th Five-Year Plan, an increase of about 34% from the 11th Five-Year Plan, the annual growth rate is 5%, and the growth rate continues to slow down. The investment in fixed assets in the communications industry will grow slightly, reaching 60 billion yuan, an increase of about 9% compared with the "11 th Five-Year Plan.
It is understood that at the end of the "11 th Five-year Plan" period, the total number of telephone users in Shanghai reached 32.975 million, of which 0.318 million were fixed telephone users and 23.616 million were mobile phone users. The number of 3G mobile phone users reached 1.999 million, accounting for 8.5% of the total number of mobile phone users, ranking second in the country. Internet users reached 12.39 million, with a penetration rate of 64.5%, higher than the national average of 34.3 and the global average of 29.7, close to the average of 68.8 in developed countries.
In terms of income, during the "11 th Five-year Plan" period, the total number of telecommunication services increased by 20.8% per year, and the business income increased by 8.1% per year, respectively, less than 21.2% and 19.5% during the "15 th Five-year Plan" period, the growth rate slows down to varying degrees. During the 28% period, the investment income ratio of the Shanghai communications industry was approximately 39.6%, lower than the 36% level during the period, and lower than the national average.
