Article Title: File Manager sharing for Linux operating systems. Linux is a technology channel of the IT lab in China. Includes basic categories such as desktop applications, Linux system management, kernel research, embedded systems, and open source.
Currently, GNOME and KDE are the two most popular graphics desktops in RedHatLinux 9.0. The two desktop systems have two different file managers: Nautilus (parrot) in GNOME and Konqueror in KDE, each of which has many practical features.
In fact, no matter which Desktop you log on, you can use these two file managers at the same time. The method is simple: Open the File Manager Konqueror in KDE and find the/usr/bin/directory, drag the Nautilus file to the taskbar and create a new icon for it in the pop-up dialog box. Then you can click the icon to run the Nautilus File Manager. Similarly, in GNOME, find the Konqueror file in the same directory and perform the same operation.
However, there is a small problem. If you use different fonts or non-system default fonts in two desktop systems, when running the Nautilus File Manager in KDE, you will find that the font is different from the system settings. In this case, you can find the gnome-font-properties file in the/usr/bin/directory, run it, and select the desired font. If it is on the GNOME desktop, open the Konqueror File Manager and find the kcontrol file in the/usr/bin directory, after you run it, find the font setting option in it to set the font of the konqueror File Manager.
