Win8 follows the home group function of Win7, allowing users to easily share files and folders on the LAN.
The setting method is basically the same. Let's take a look at how to use the home group function in Win8 to share files and folders.
If you are a technical master or are very clear about how to use the Win7 family group, you can directly move over. First, after the Win + X command menu, open the control panel-select the home group and sharing options
If no one in the LAN has ever created a home group, create one by yourself. Click "create home group"-"Next"-"Next.
After the creation is complete, the system will automatically display a default family group password, which we will write down
Now we will use other computers in the LAN to join the home group and enter the password allocated to the home group by the system.
Select the content to be shared
After joining the family group, if there are other files to be shared, we can right-click the file and select the sharing mode based on the actual situation.
After that, click "Family Group" in the left column of file resource manager to view the files shared by family members.
