Shared Folder between Linux Virtual Machine and Winodows ---- install VMware tools in Linux
It is very troublesome to obtain files from the original local system in the virtual machine. To share folders between the original system and virtual machines, you can install VMware tools.
1. Install vmware tools
(1) check whether the optical drive is mounted on the Virtual Machine. If it has been mounted, unmount
(2) decompress the vmwaretools package
Copy the gz compressed package in vmwaretools to your own folder (you can find it on your own)
Decompress the package and run the tar-xzvf vmware ------ *. gz command.
ENTER as prompted to confirm.
2. Set Shared Folders
Under the VM option, select the setting option and follow the prompts below to select the option:
After the selection is complete, enter the system and enter the following command in the terminal:
