Sharepoint 2016 Configuration FBA (i) Create membership database

The process of configuring FBA (Forms Based authentication) on SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint 20,131-like.

First step: Create the Membership database.

In order to store all user names and passwords, it is preferred to create a database. ASP. NET comes with a tool to create a membership database that membership a database to store login information.

Open c:\windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\, run aspnet_regsql.exe.

Select "Configure SQL Server for application services" and next.

Enter the SQL Server server name, SQL Server login account. Database name Select <default>, the database name created is ASPNETDB.

Confirm the installation summary and next

Database has been created or modified, Finish.

To IIS, look at the identity of the site's application pool, administrator, to ensure that the Windows account has sufficient access to the ASPNETDB database.

After knowing the identity, enter SSMS to set the permissions for this identity, in the Security-logins right-click the user, select Properties.

In user Mapping, select User Mapping, select Aspnetdb, select the db_owner role in database role membership for ASPNETDB, and click OK. This has full access to the ASPNETDB.
