Business Data ConnectivityService in SharePoint is a very useful function. Using this service can easily interact with external systems (such as databases, web services, and third-party systems, you can import data from an external system to the SharePoint list and modify it.

 

First, you must create a service application. Go to the SharePoint Management center and create a Business Data Connectivity Service in Application Management:
