Overview

SharePoint configuration analyzer is a diagnostic tool used to verify running WSS or SPS and some key settings that host Web parts. SharePoint configuration analyzer also reports the use of Web parts on the server and retrieves a series of log files, configuration files, Web part packages, and IIS. In server farm configuration, running SharePoint configuration analyzer on each server is a very useful method to detect and fix server configuration inconsistencies, make sure that all Web Part assemblies are deployed on all servers.

 

Install

Copy the SharePoint configuration analyzer execution file to the local server running WSS or SPS.

You can find detailed information about how to use the analyzer in the Help menu.
