If a Site Collection is large, you can back up a Site or List separately. In the Central Administration, click Export a site or list:

Go to the Site Or List Export page and select the Site Collection to be backed up:

After selecting Site Collection, you can select Site and List. The following is the page for selecting a Site:

After selecting the Site and List to be backed up, enter a folder path for storing the backup data:

 

 

There are two more options.

• Whether to back up Security.

• Export Security?

  If this is selected, the user-related information is backed up not only when the data content is backed up.

• Export Version?

  You can control the version export here. Based on the importance of data and disk space, consider whether to export all versions, the latest major Version, the current version, or the latest major and minor versions.

Click Start Export to go to the Job status page:

As you can see, SharePoint does not provide a page for restoring Site/List. You must use the PowerShell command.

 

After the backup is complete, you can see that the data already exists in the folder:
